The customer’s requirement was to be able to manage the electronically controlled heating and ventilation system by means of remote control. The system requirement was to ensure on the one hand the demand-oriented air management for maximum comfort of the players and on the other the reduction of operating costs for the club.
Solution
For regulation and control of the devices, we have implemented modern controls which ensure customer safety, comfort and significant energy savings. All this with the possibility to control the heating and ventilation unit remotely.
The system we installed includes an IH/AS K hot air generator in combination with a GVE backup ventilation unit with LD diesel generator, with a PLC control system.
The PLC controls allows the automatic management of various functions: ventilation, heating and monitoring of cost-effectiveness with daily time windows; above all, the possibility to manage all operating parameters remotely via smartphone or tablet and to receive an automatic notification in case of anomalies.
Critical situations such as strong wind, damage to the membrane or accidentally opened doors are managed automatically by the PLC to ensure the safety of the system also in emergency mode. In the absence of electricity, the back-up unit intervenes to ensure the supply of electricity and necessary air pressure.
In addition, the use of the economy system saves between 30%-40% compared to a conventional generator thanks to the innovative air control. Energy efficiency that pays off.
