In many industrial environments there is a legal obligation to extract fumes and odors, volatile organic substances and fine dust generated by processes. The challenge is how to renew the indoor-air that has been removed due to process exhaust fans. A make-up air solution is recommended for buildings where environmental conditions warrant a greater need for ventilation to improve the quality of air within the building which contributes to the health of those working inside. To achieve this, modern and at the same time simple and reliable solutions, with eco-efficient and affordable technologies are required.
Solution
Our contribution: we have installed an IH/AR 100 Blow-Rec™ warm air generator. The warm air heater unit consists of high-efficiency Eco-Design heat exchanger with an integrated air-to-air heat recuperator module to provide the building with tempered fresh air with the right pressure.
The cross-flow plate heat exchanger makes it possible to transfer heat between two separated airflows operating at different temperatures. The use of such equipment enables considerable savings of 50%. This system will pre-heat fresh air before entering the combustion chamber allowing significant savings in operating costs for many years.
In addition to standard solutions, we design and install heating, ventilation and heat recovery systems for industrial process plants which need special components because of presence of solvents or aggressive volatile particles.
