The heating and ventilation system implemented by Blowtherm is located in a sports facility for competition and amateur disciplines. New possibilities have been opened up with a new lightweight wooden construction. The new facility complies with the regulations of the Italian Tennis Federation. Official competitions can now also be held and spectators can participate indoor. The plant was realized in cooperation with an engineering timber construction company.

The replacement of two air domes with a prefabricated wooden roof structure with laminated arches and a roof membrane made of high quality polyester fabric gave the impetus for a rethinking of the heating and ventilation technology. An efficient and environmentally friendly thermal ventilation system was to be implemented in order to guarantee the desired climatic conditions and indoor air quality.
Solution
In order to meet the economic, technical and design expectations of the customer, we have installed the following system components:
A central condensing hot air generator IH/AR K. This is a compact high-performance warm air heating unit that makes it possible to significantly reduce the operating costs of the plant through energy savings. In compliance with the EcoDesign/ERP standard.
The temperature-controlled air is supplied and distributed via certified textile channels. With a special softstarter system, we regulate the air flow during the start-up phase. The Blowtherm system is ideal for the efficient, uniform and draught-free distribution of fresh air throughout the entire sports facility.
